Update 22/1/25 - Thai has been in residencia kennels with Corinna for a month now and is showing himself to be a typical pod :) He is very active, loves to be running around and playing, is now enjoying getting treats and attention from Corinna. He is still quite nervous of walking on the lead so tends to prance around and get tangled, so that's a skill he will need to learn, and probably shouldn't be homed in an area with lots of traffic so that he can get used to walks without too much to fear. Thai gets on with all female dogs and most of the males, but he can get a bit stroppy with some males (usually small ones) so should probably be homed with females or particularly placid males. Thai will definitely need an active, energetic home where someone is around most of the time. His cat tests have indicated that he can live with a dog savvy cat. She gets on great with all the other dogs, seems not to be interested in the cat, loves human interaction and is a particular fan of a comfy sofa to lie on. She walks well on the lead and doesn't seem to be particularly fearful of anything. Update 21st December. Thai flew into Madrid yesterday and is now settling into our residencia with Sirou and the others. More info to follow soon. Thai is one of the next "Tenerife Four" His plane tickets are booked and he travels to mainland Spain into the care of PINS and Corinna on 20th December. As you can see, Thai was picked up in a terrible condition, but has been nursed back to health by the volunteers on the island and has been chosen as one of our 4 because, in taking Thai, they can free up the space for another soul who is in desperate need of help. Thai is a happy, sociable boy who already looks like he is so grateful for his change in fortunes. More info as we get it, but if you are interested in applying for Thai, pm us and we will send you our application pack
